Hi Friends ,I have a different scenario

Autoupgrade failes from 11.0.6a to MP2.

Customer has two management servers, on both of these the old version was removed and a new install was made - so old data from 11.0.2 would not cause a problem.

Management servers are now running 11.0.6 MP2, and the customer has added the install packages to the groups - but the upgrade fails.

    From eventlog:

"Product: Symantec Endpoint Protection -- Error 1309.Error reading from file: C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\SmcLU\Setup\program files\Symantec\SEP\Checksum.exe.  System error 3.  Verify that the file exists and that you can access it."

Customer is wondering why it is using that directory, when it also creates:

    "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\Cached Installs\{FA272494-8DEA-43CF-9BFF-652553C04265}\program files\Symantec\SEP"

Kindly help me to close this case

I think the customer has answered the question on his own.It seems to me as a permission issue
