My clients are showing up in the system tray (on the client) as not up to date. when i check the SEPM it is up to date and shows all clients are up to date, and the date and Rel. are up to date on the SEPM and the clients.

Hi
when you say
"SEPM it is up to date and shows all clients are up to date, and the date and Rel"
where are u checking this info under home tab? or via logs?
SEPM shows what clients send as logs.
check if your sepm has latest defs
check this discussion and make sure the manager is upto date.

Check whether the clients are communicating with the SEPM.
Check the date of definitions on the SEPM
Check the poilcy serial number on the SEPM as well as on the Client they should be the same.

Sandip, that screenshot above
Sandip, that screenshot above ... the Troubleshooting window ... how did you bring that up? Is it via a menu that I can't see? Or some magic combination of keystrokes?
For getting troubleshooting
For getting troubleshooting window click open client user interface click on help and support which is present in the top right corner you will get an option for troubleshooting.......
