After having some problems with my SEPM, i was forced to backup my database reinstall the program and restore the database. After all of this all looks well but i noticed that my clients lost tha little gree circle on the logo for the SEPClients which means that they are not clients any more if i am not mistaking. I letf it like that for a couple of days to see if it would automatically connect and i stated working on some other projects. I came back to look on the console and the clients have not been scaned, definitions are out of date for a whole month and even though i sent the update its not going through. How can i do to connect these clients back to the server all at the same time without having to go one at a time uninstall client and install again?

How to change a Symantec Endpoint Protection client from unmanaged to managed in MR3 and above using the Sylink Drop utility
    http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH92678

For SEP 12.1 To connect the clients, you can export the communication settings from your SEPM and then go to the client Help > Troubleshooting and import the sylink.xml file that you made when exporting the communication settings.
