  • 1.  Clients from Win7Pro-64bit cannot connect to SEMP server

    Posted Oct 12, 2011 12:32 PM

    Hello,
I got some laptops with Win764bit and i deployed the clients.
The managed client was installed on the workstation, but there is no connection to SEMP:
    -missing green icon
-in Troubleshooting\Management\ "everything" looks fine except Server:Offline
-I cannot see as ussualy the pc's in SEMP console after install
The SEMP works just fine for any other workstations\clients I have (WinXp32bit and couple of Win7Pro-64bit).
Only on these new laptops with Win7 64 the client don't see the server.
    There is no firewall issue.
I suspect that is something with the last upgrade on server when I moved from 11.0.5002.333 to 11.0.7000.975 (the existing clients on Win7-64bit where updated...not with fresh install as I'm trying to do now).

    Please I need some hints.

    thanks

    Hi,

You can try to replace sylink file manually.

If didn't help, sylink monitor logs can help to dignosis issue.
