Hi

We have Symantec SEP 11.5 with around 3000 users PC with are scatter on around 12 remote sites and one head office. In Symentec Centre we have created two location on is head office and other is RemoteSite. Different remotes sites users PC appearing in Remotesite location and HO users PC are appearing in Head Office site. But what we have seen since two weeks that users PC which are appearing in Head Office location they are appearing in Remote location and on client PC we can see the location is Remote. And same thing happen to in vise vers Remote users PC appear in LAN. What could be the reason

This problem is occuring when your systems are not getting communicate threw server for long time. After startup Hardware ID Recreated and getting different path.

Diferrent path reason is when you install symantec on that client the patch which you have installed on that system was of that differ location.

Due to that this problem occur.

Solution replace the Sylink file

Path - - C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\SyLink.xml

Hello,

You are carrying a old version of SEP. i.e; 11.0.5002.

Does this issue occur even in the Latest version of Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0.7101?

Could you check the same?
