Need help cloning a workstation using the ghost console.

this what I have accomplish. using the ghost console server I created a bootable thumb drive which I used to take a copy of the Image file and at teh same time used the thumb drive to restore. and it work perfectly. I manage to access the ghost cast server and perform multicasting.

now what i wanted to do is to use the server with out using any thumb drive to backup and restore image across the network. but when i used the ghost cast server I seem to not get the same ghost GUI as what I am doing with a thumb drive. and the sad part and frustrating I am getting error - drivers could not be loaded in the preOS - intel ICH9 sata AHCI. what should i do?

I tried pre dos when the workstation boot up i kept getting continous connect disconnect message looping on DHCP when its about to go to ghost GUI it display an abort 20077 please register ghost berfore attempting this operation.

can anyone help me. give me a simple setup

I only wanted to restore and backup using winpe using ghost console. no thumb drive all using LAN.

hoping for a reply thanks in advance..

Hi, I think I just replied to

Hi,

I think I just replied to your earlier post also.

I don't think the message is about DHCP, but the communication with the server. The error message you mention is a pretty straight one, Ghost.exe had not being registered during installation (or you might have replaced with an unregisterd one). Since this is specific to Ghost.exe, I think you use DOS preOS.

Could you open cmd console in Ghost Console, go to ..\ghost folder and run "Ghost.exe -#e" ?
This will register Ghost.exe using the registration file in Console.
