  • 1.  Cloud-enabled Management mode is disabled in Altiris 7.5 Agent

    Hello Team,

    I have pushed the Altiris Agent on few computers from the Notification Server and found it to be successfully installed. They were all connected to the corporate LAN network. But when I remove them from the Corporate Network and connects to Internet, Cloud Mode is not getting enabled. CEM Policy has been applied to all these computers.

    When I use the CEM Package - It works fine. Cloud Mode is Enabled and when I connect to LAN, It is pointing to LAN Site Server. This works absolutely fine.

    Basically, what I want is :- I want to push the altiris agents from the NS console and when user connects to Internet, Agent has to get changed automatically to Cloud Mode.

    What does the status show for the Internet agent?  In the SMA settings tab, it should say "Cloud-enabled Management mode is enabled... ".  If it shows disabled, you don't have your policy targeted properly.  If it shows enabled but isn't working, check the agent logs and see what it is failing to connect.  The CEM gateway cert should be automatically installed but depending what certs you have on the NS and site servers, they may be untrusted by the agents.  Also, ensure targeted agent policies are pointing to the alternate https path.
