Cluster AV Exceptions

Created: 05 Nov 2012 • Updated: 06 Nov 2012 | 4 comments
This issue has been solved. See solution.

I have a two node Microsoft cluster that has 4 clustered disks on each node. I want to be able to exclude all these disks from any AV scans or real-time scans. I can go into the client exceptions and select the 4 disks on each, but I need to be able to add the passive disks too (for when there is a switchover). How can I do this? As they dont exist on the machines they dont appear in the add folder exception list.

It won't be possible than. Those need to appear in the list and any that don't can't/won't be scanned or able to be excluded.
