Thanks in advance for looking - here are the parameters:

    1. Running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.
    2. Client Computer may have had a trial version of BESR running previously. Since then it has been uninstalled from the ctrl panel.
    3. Original installation pushed from the SEPM console. Install looked good from that side.
    4. Received error messages after push installation as follows:
    5. Ran Cleanwipe after manual removal ( including being local admin / disabling UAC / files run locally / running regedit through psexec / etc…. )
    6. Upon fresh reinstall SEP11 ( from local files as ‘unmanaged’) seems to be working but then rolls back at ‘installing services’
    7. SEP_INST log file seems to indicate a couple of errors:
    8. Failed to load ccInst64.dll. symRes=0x80010300
    9. Installation success or error status: 1603
    10. I have uploaded the SEP_INST log ass attachement (+10 mb).

Thanks Again for all your help

Follow the simple steps it may resolve

    1. Disable "User account control" from Control Panel->User accounts
    2. Reboot machine.
    3. Right click on SEP client setup, and select "Run As Administrator".

Can you try to install SEP by using another copy of SEP.

    Also

    Delete following folders if present
    C:\Program Files\Symantec
    C:\Program Data\Symantec
    C:\Program Files\Symantec AntiVirus
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec
    C:\Users\All Users\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Symantec Endpoint Protection

Also delete following reg keys if present
    HKLM\Software\symantec
    HKCU\Software\symantec
    Install SEP and try..
