We are a software development company dedicated to networked management utility for shared computers. Our software performs various functions such as instant system recovery, hard disk restoration and remote management.

To maintain shared computers, mostly customers use our software to automatically restore the hard disk at each system bootup. This means all updates for anti-virus software downloaded previously will be gone after bootup. In the past few years, more and more of our customers have demanded scheduling the update for your anti-virus software including the driver and virus pattern through our “Scheduler” function. This way they will be able to schedule an automated maintenance process with our software including restore system to a clean state, update anti-virus software, and then save the new state as a new recovery point. To do such operation, we need to know how to initialize the update procedure for Norton AntiVirus & EndPoint Protection  from the command line. Please advise whether Symantec provides “command line” for AntiVirus and EndPoint Protection. Thanks!
