Are there commands to repair SEP installation and force it to download policies.

Several people are trying to script this, rather than go to Control Panel, repair installation.

There is nothing from the SEPM side that can be pushed to kickoff a repair on the client or force it to check in and grab a policy. This would need to be initiated from the client.

I mean the SEP client, how to repair installation of the SEP client using command-line, while you are on the user's machine?

I don't believe SEP has the ability to do this as this is more a built-in function of Windows.

There are few KB articles for MSI commands for SEP you can look at but I don't believe these will shed much light on it. These only apply to installing/uninstalling/adding/removing features of SEP

MSI command line reference for Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0

Using MSI Command Line Switches to install SEP 12.1 fails to install or fails to abide by switch parameters

Windows scripting will be needed but there is nothing I was able to find in regards to someone having done it with SEP.
