I upgraded my test sepm from 11.0.6 to 12.1. One of the things I didn't pay enough attention to was communications ports.
1 . Where in SEPM can I see what ports I'm using for communication before an upgrade?
2. I recall during the upgrade I was asked to select some ports and went with the default. Is there any going back to fix that?
3. What is the advantage of changing ports? I've seen a lot of people on here go to the trouble of doing a sylinkdrop. Seems like I could just fix the server back to 80/tcp. Is there any reason I should go to the trouble of changing ports. I can think of one group behind a firewall that will have to update their fw settings.
in the test environment it is no big deal, but I'd like to make sure I do this correctly in production.
