Messaging Gateway

Just wondering if anyone knows where I can get some material comparing Gateway email security solutions from differant vendors with Symantec's gateway products such as a report by Gartner.

The majority of that is going to come from our sales department. I believe they have all the comparison charts available for you to look at depending on the offering you are looking in to.

You can find Industry Analyst reports here including the Gartner Magic Quadrant for E-Mail Security Boundaries, Gartner, 2008:

The Gartner report placed us in the top right "leaders" quadrant. Note that since then we have been developing our offering even further:
- Message Labs has become part of Symantec
- a virtual edition of the Symantec Brightmail Gateway appliance is available for those that do not want to purchase hardware
- there is Bounce Attack Prevention module to address backscatter spam
- we are definitely actively working on addressing the other points in the cautions section
