This issue has been solved. See solution.

Just curious if anyone has heard any rumors or tentative dates on when the following will be supported by EV8:

Windows Server 2008 R2
Exchange 2010

I know that they aren't supported yet, and that Exchange 2010 has not even released yet, but it will be released soon and Management is going to want answers.

Thanks!

JV

EV's "standard" supporting

EV's "standard" supporting targets AFAIK are 90 days after release of a product.
(Of course this may vary, and depends on service pack schedules, and complexity of the "new" product/sp)

If Exchange 2010 is going to be released in January, and there will be a Service Pack in February and May, then i'd guess it would be May.
(not real dates, only to illustrate... *g*)

I doubt that EX 2010 will be

I doubt that EX 2010 will be supported by v8 in a service pack.  There is soooo much different that I would believe this would be done in the next version of Enterprise Vault. EV Director, would you like to comment?

That's what I was most

That's what I was most curious about, as waiting for EV9 to release may mean potentially 2nd/3rd QTR of 2010 for support of Exchange 2010?

Thanks,
JV
