in SEPM 12, I can have a manager with sql 2008 and sql 2005 with another manager and have a replication between them.

I have one that is already SEPM platform 12 with two databases in sql 2005, I need to install a new manager in another city but takes into sql 2008.
There are some drawbacks to this manager integrates with the data bases and establesidas in sql 2005?
There are two possible situations, a manager with a new database in sql 2008, to replicate the existing database in sql 2005.
or an additional manager has sql 2008
server and connect to one of the existing databases.

which of the two is more viable? connection problems sql versions?

    thanks for the help.
