Just curious.....should the Compatibility Pack for Office 2007 be virtualized in it's own layer, or as a part of an Office 2003 layer.  Just curious...I have a user who has virtualized versions of Office and is now having some issues due to a release of the pack to the base.

I think that since it is just

I think that since it is just a normal update for office that it should be included in the layer. It is pretty small and shouldn't cause any problems.

So if I am running Office 2003, XP, and 2000 virtually..........

I should add the Compatibility pack to all those layers?

The problem at hand is I

The problem at hand is I believe office has to be installed for the compatibility pack to install and to capture you have to have all other layers deactivated, so you can see the problem if all your Office versions are vritualized.

I don't know if the program installs different files for different versions of Office but you could try to install office to the base and then capture the Compatibility Pack, export it and then try it out on a test machine with your virtualized apps.
