You might be able to if you went and purchased the Open File Option (or advanced open file option I think it's called these days), but otherwise no. These files always in used by the system so Backup Exec is never able to back them up since they're always locked, however that's not really a major issue since those files, in particular the one you mention, are just temporary files anyway.
Could be worse though, back in the version 8 days it was all or nothing, Completed or Failed, so a job like that would have come back as a failed job. I think it was only with version 9 they introduced the Completed with Exceptions state, to allow for those jobs which aren't technically 100% successful, but which everyone would prefer to be displayed as such.
Hello,
Have you installed the advance open file option?
Thanks
Hi Teja,
Yes we have installed AFO .... pls let me know is there any settings modiffication needs req in AFO to avoid the status "Completed with Execptions"? or need to give any permission for the specified file to avoid the same...?
Hello,
Kindly refer the following Document:
Backup job log shows exceptions when a Shadow Copy operation is run against non-Shadow Copy components and the "Advanced Open File Option" is not installed
