i have dell optiplex with window 7 32 bit. baught it a month ago.
i hjave symantec endpoint security installed
my pc came pre installed with trend micro, but i have removed it via control panel
sometimes, not all the time, when i am saving a file or transferring files from one folder to another, my computer stops in the middle of that process, and wont respond to me closing it. it just keep trying to save or to transfer.
"ctrl+alt+dlt has no effect to stop it
when i try to log off, it will get stuck on the blue screen
i have encounter this problem with adobe photoshop and microsoft office, mainly excel
after changing my computer a couple of times with dell and many other trial and errors, i figured out that the problem has something to do with symantec.
while the process is stuck and wont advance, i uninstalled endpoint, and right after the uninstall, the process finished. the file was saved or the files were transfered.
for some reason, symantec is blocking this from happening (sometimes)
i am going crazy here. spend a lot of money on my new pc and cant enjoy it.
any solutions?
