  • 1.  Computer GUID getting flush while running Prepare for Capture image Task

    Hello

    We have installed Deployment Solution 7.6 HF1.

    We trying to Capture Windows 7. I have the sequence like Prepare for image capture ----- Create Image --- Reboot to Production.

    But in a Prepare for Image Capture it run long time and I have Computer GUID getting Flush.

    That's exactly what prepare for image capture is supposed to do. It removes the GUID so the agent is generalized for the image and PCs that have that imaged deployed will pull a new GUID.

    As for it running a long time, it is likely sysprep that is taking the time. You can check the sysprep logs in c:\Windows\System32\Sysprep\Panther\

    Hi CBZ9104,

    If Sysprep keeps running and the machine does not reboot you are facing Windows 7 Sysprep limit. Take a loot at these articles:
