12.1 installation

windows xp

error message " your computer need to be restarted to complete the instalation"

steps performed : restarted multiple times,deleted the rebootmgr entry from the registry,deleted pending file rename operations,used clean wipe reinstalled sep 12.1 still the same.

using modify installation remove ntp.

still the same

using modify installation removed ptp ,removed the bash drive.

rebooted the pc.

still the same.

can you check this article actually there are two pending file keys in reg you need to delete

Hello,

I would highly appreciate if you could please upload us the SEP_Inst.log from the client machine, so that we could understand the root cause of the issue.

Secondly, Is this occurying only on 1 machine or a number of machines?
