  • 1.  Computers not scanned reporting from stale data

    We've recently been upgrading our workstations from WinXP to Win7. We've been noticing that more machines show up as not completing their weekly scan and in the report still show the OS as WinXP and not their current version. In the SEPM console the workstations report the correct OS version and show their def's are being updated as they should as well as their regular checkin times, but the quick report, as well as scheduled, for the same machine shows WinXP.

    Where could it possible be retaining and reporting on this stale data and how can I purge it or enable SEPM to replace that data with the correct information?

    We're running the latest 11.0.6 MP2 and clients are 11.0.6200.754

    I'm sure it's in the database... somewhere. Unfortunately, we don't support editing the database manually.

    You may have some luck if you delete the clients from the SEPM and let them check back in, as that will purge all their log data.
