    Hi everyone:

     

    I am new to these forums and just recently installed Symantec Antivirus 10.1.5.5000 on my home computer.

     

    Once in a while I will get the following error message when shutting down my computer:

     

    Rtvscan.exe - Application Error - The Instruction at "0x77600f57" referenced memory at "0x69584d3c". The memory could not be "read".

     

    I am not alarmed, just curious since this does not happen often. But again, I do not like seeing error messages.

     

    Does anyone here know what is causing this and if there is a remedy so this message will not appear again?
