You forgot to select or mention the OS on your NBU master server?

Mail notification is different for Windows and Unix/Linux servers. 

If Windows, the TN mentioned in above post will help you.

If Unix/Linux, you need to enable sendmail at OS level. If you can send email using mailx, you can add email address in NBU config.

Os is Server 2008. I was talking about mail notification of backup failure because i have no more acess on my id to login the Server. My collegue have done this configuration.

TECH24110 and TECH64984 mentioned in above posts will tell you how to config email on Windows master server and how to setup email notification in NBU.

You will need access to the master server to do this.
