Configuration Oracle Agent

Bonjour,

j'ai installé Symantec Backup Exec 2010 sur un serveur qui gère une base oracle.

J'ai donc du acheter L'agent Oracle pour sauvegarder ma base mais je ne trouve aucun moyen de configurer cet agent, je ne trouve pas ma base dans la liste de sélection des fichiers à sauvegarder...

Pouvez vous me donner quelques pistes ?

EDIT: In BE console, click on Tools->Options->Oracle->Modify List. Add FQDN of the

          Oracle server and the credentails which were entered in the "Database Access"

          tab of the remote agent utility.

thanks for your help it worked !

i was just wondering why i need to setup the remote agent, as Symantec Backup exec is installed on the Oracle database computer ??

Remote agent works with Rman to perform backups and restore. You need to specify

the instance in the remote agent utilty that you want to backup.

I know it sounds silly, but ALL data access by BackupExec is done via the "remote" agent, even on the media server itself
