Has anyone been able to configure a report as a web service? I have done as the instructions say in the "Symantec™ ServiceDesk 7.1 SP2 User Guide" (attached) in the section "Setting up or modifying Web Service access for standard reports." (p.351-2), however the report does not seem to be available. I see a file generated in the directory ProcessManager\ReportServices\ReportName.asmx, however when I open this up in a browser, it is blank. Perhaps I am misunderstaiding how this is supposed to work.

    I appreciate any assistance.

    Thanks :)

I created a workflow to display the contents of the SQL in a web form for now. I have opened a ticket with Symantec regarding this. Does anyone know if adding more web services in this way, creates server performance problems? I can see in the "Workflow Explorer" that it adds another item to the list under "Current Running Processes", however the "Process ID" is the same as anything else running under w3wp.

I ended up having to open a ticket. I got a workaround, but it looks like something that will need to go to the developers to fix.
