The way to share file access from a UNIX server to a Windows box is via Samba ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samba_%28software%29 ).

VCS supports this via a set of several Samba agents, namely:

    • The NetBios agent
    • The SambaServer agent
    • The SambaShare agent

To understand how to implement them you should read the "Veritas Cluster Server Bundled Agents Reference Guide" appropriate for your platform and VCS version.  You can find the guides in SORT  ( https://sort.symantec.com/documents ).  The sections you want to read are in the "File share agents" section, and are:

    • About the Samba agents
    • SambaServer agent
    • SambaShare agent
    • NetBios agent

If you have further questions after reading those resources you should post the version of Solaris and VCS, as well as you specific questions.

Best of luck!
-Kevin
