  • 1.  "Configure Settings" Buttons in SEP Client

    Posted Jul 12, 2012 11:55 AM

I have my clients set to server control, and I have everything locked, but the clients can still click the Configure Settings buttons and look around at the settings.  Is there are way to disable their access to those menus?  I don't want to lock them out of the entire client, because I want them to be able to go to  Help -> Troubleshooting if they need to.

    Hello,

    Currently not possible.

I understand they would be able to check the settings of SEP, however would not be able to change any settings as they are greyed out.

    However, a Good IDEA.

I have created 1 on your behalf, check this:

    Hope that helps!

If all the settings are locked and the user can still click configure, then that user has administrator rights to the computer. Normal users have configure button greyed out. Cheers mate
