I have discovered than renaming windows 2000 workstations is less than simple. The Reconfigure feature of DS has been the most simple and delivered teh best results. The catch is I don't want to manualy 'Reconfigure' eacj machine and the 'Configure' task as a normal job does not allow me to create the naming convent ion I want 'AAABBB%ID%'.



I have started hacking the CFG files, generated by the system job. I thought before I get too deep maybe somebody has already solved this?
