Endpoint Protection

Hello,

I'm installing SEPM 11.RU6a  on windows 2008 R2 with a SQL 2008 R2 database on a remote host.
It's a new DB

The configuration process encounter a problem when initializing the database. 

It runs for hours and cannot complete the configuration

NO ERROR MESSAGE

On the SQL server the DB is created but no table is created. The DB is empty

Could someone help me ?

Cancel the setup delete that database form SQL server restart SEPM server and do a reconfiguration and try....

Whether the network is stable?

Please  check if you  see the  Data folder  inside the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager folder. If you  do then, let it run, even if it takes very long  time.

The folder is there but I had already stopped the config wizard.

I'll retry the configuration from another (clean) server.

are you trying to install it under remote session, can u try the console session?
check if you find any logs under logs folder

Installing, Managing, Replicating SEP or SEPM in an RDP or Dameware session is expected to fail

I've tested in console mode and the configuration is now completed and the DB is correctly configured
