Hello all,

Need some help on the following:

recently my company migrated and deployed Symantec End Point Protection version 11. We have enabled USB logging for all pcs but have not blocked any external devices (basically monitoring only)

I have enabled a notification to alert myself to anyone copying files to any external devices, however i get no notifications (tested it using wrong login to server and got a notification so no issues there). I have set the notification for 1 occurrences within 1 minute so in theory should work.

Tested copying files to a usb drive and i can see this in the logs but i do not get any notification. Not sure if i am doing anything wrong.

Also would like a report to be sent weekly but it seems to be a summary report with no further details.

Any advice or help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

If you are looking for Email

If you are looking for Email Notification then this will not be possible.

You can go to Ideas section and put and Idea for the same.

Thanks & Regards,

Could you please tell us how exactly you set it? You are talking about email notifications? Can you give more information on the steps you took?
