configuring volume replication group attributes

Created: 02 Jan 2012 | 3 comments

Hello,

I am configuring volume replication between 2 clusters (File server clusters).

Please can anyone help me to set attributes in Replication volume group.

What do i need to give inputs in VVRrvg resource attributes:

1. RVG

2. SRL

3 Rlinks

Thanks,

You shouldn't need SRL and rlinks - just RVG which you can get from vxprint -V if you don't know the name of the RVG that is set-up (you have to set-up VVR first in SFW using VEA or CLI).

You will also need to specify the names of the Diskgroup and IP resources used in the VCS replication service group in the VMDgResName and IPResName attributes.

See the "Configuring VVR in a VCS environment" section of the VVR Admin guide for more details.

Thanks Mike,

now i am stuck at one place. I have configured RVG primary resource in File share group, what i need to add in RVGResourceName attribute.

This is just the name of the VCS VVRrvg resource that you created in youe replication service group.
