This issue has been solved. See solution.

Hi All

I'm about to do my first EV9.0 upgrade and have noticed in the Upgrade Guide that there are 2 important pre-requisites

  • Minimum SQL must be 2005 sp2
  • All EV Clients must be 8.0

Do these apply ?

The reason I ask is the customer is on EV8.0 sp 4 but  most of there EV clients are on EV 7.5 sp3 so clearly they need to upgrade there desktop client if the Upgrade Guide is accurate

Thx

It will probably work however

It will probably work however with the 7.5 client as long as you dont use OL2010.

You are right about the SQL needing to be 2005 SP2 or higher.
