Conflict (?) between Unisent (IVASoft) and Enterprise Vault 2007 7.5 SP3,

Dear all,

has anyone encountered a product named Unisent, by IVASoft, this is an add-in to MS Outlook 2007 ?

The problem we're encountering with Unisent, it causes an error message suggesting that when an EV (ver 2007 SP3)  vault stored item is opened, that EV won't open the item. Respond to close the error dialog box and the vault stored item is successfully opened.
This may not be strictly a Unisent issue, but a conflict (somewhere) between Unisent and EV.

The compatibility guide shows this has never been tested, but in most cases EV works with Third party software without an issue.

Your only real hope if this is very important to you is via your Symc account team and ask if they can speak to product management to see if there is any plans to QA EV with this software.  Or is Unisent willing to look at further in regards the conflict?

Dear all,
many thanks for your interest.
We raised a formal call with Symantec EV support, who investigated and responded that we should contact our Acct manager and request that Unisent be certified for use with EV,
Shortly after that we received a response from IVASoft directing us to a hotfix, which is currently being tested. When we can confirm that the problem has been eliminated, I'll post a conclusion to this one and a link to the hotfix.
