    Hello,

    I'm having a Linux Virtual Server with some domains on it and sending Mail's to different reciepients are getting this error message:

     

    (connect to cluster8.eu.messagelabs.com[85.158.139.19]:25: Connection timed out)

    (connect to cluster1a.uk.messagelabs.com[85.158.139.103]:25: Connection timed out)

     

    and some others, i believe. I'm having this Virtual Server since early February and i believe the past owners of my ip had some issues, or whatever. I checked (and cleared) my ip from all rbl/blackhole list's now, but i'm still getting blocked on some custom networks like yours. Could this be cleared ?

     

    Server's IP: 188.138.122.198

    Hi Neutron,

     

    I reviewed you IP and it does appear restrictions had been placed on it due past spam activity. Based on our latest investigation I went ahead and cleared those restrictions. You should be able to connect to the Symantec.Cloud servers without issue now.

    I have also the same problema.No can send mails to some domains and remain in deferred .
    
    The IP of my server is 201.151.95.123 .
    
    
    The errors displayed are:

    Hi Victor,

    I reviewed the IP and found that restrictions were in place due to spam activity detected coming from it. I checked its current status and with that in mind the restrictions were lifted. You should be able to connect to the Symantec.Cloud servers now.

    Hi the-right-solution

    I took a look at the IP and restrictions had been raised due to spam activity detected from the IP around late November of last year. Based on current activity, I went ahead and cleared those restrictions. You should have no issues connecting to the Symantec.Cloud servers now.

    I'm having the same problem with our new webserver. We have just migrated to it last week, but we we're giving a new IP adress because of a provider switch.
     

    IP: 176.9.32.244

    Error: Mar  1 11:24:52 srv postfix/smtp[5062]: connect to cluster8.eu.messagelabs.com[85.158.137.99]:25: Connection timed out

    Restrictions were applied on your IP due to spam activity detection late last year and in January. After review of current email activity, I went ahead and reset the reputation which will allow you to connect to the messagelabs.com servers.

    Hi Henk,

    Some of the IPs are being restircted due to a large amount of suspected spam emails detected from the IPs.The restrictions have been cleared and you should have no issues connecting to the Symantec.Cloud servers now.  Please be aware that if the issue recurs, you will need to reach out to the intended recipient organization so they can raise a support case for an investigation.

    I have used the symantec tool to check if the ip was blacklist but this is not the case. Therefore the system is well updated. SSL is in use, SPF, DKIM, etc. Security could not be the problem.

    Hopefully someone can help me out.

    Spam activity was detected from your IP back in September of last year which caused bad reputation. I've just cleared it, so you should no longer be seeing connection time outs. This change will take effect in the next 30 minutes.

    There are restrictions in place on your sending IP due to high spam rate. We've seen spam traffic being sent from it as recent as October of last year. I went ahead and removed restrictions so you should no longer be seeing connection timeouts. Change will take effect in about 30 minutes.

    From the as of Januari 2016  i hired a new server with five IP addresses. So i dont know what the early user has done with it.

    For now now i am happy with the result. We are able te mail again to one of or clients.

    Our sending mail server is clean and not delivering spam. 

    We already checked your reputation service at the following addresss and reported that our IP is clean:

    Server IP: 185.43.209.215

    Still we are experiencing the following errors:

    a week ago our mail server was bruteforced and server IP got in the blacklist at bl.spamcop.net.

    Trouble fixed now, IP delisted from BL.

    At http://ipremoval.sms.symantec.com/lookup/ we get "The IP address you submitted, 62.152.69.157,

    does not have a negative reputation and therefore cannot be submitted for investigation."

    And here "http://www.senderbase.org/lookup/ip/?search_string=62.152.69.157" we have Email Reputation: Neutral.

    But all of "cluster*.*.messagelabs.com" are ignoring our server IP.

    Our IP is 62.152.69.157. Can you check it, plz.

    I have exactly the same problem!!

    You unblock the IPs in symantec but NOT in messagelabs!

    My IP is : 108.170.31.234

     

    Please unblock it!

    I am also having this connection problem from my main server IP 88.202.228.72. Our reputation is very good and we don;t send spam. I believe the block was added prior to us being assigned the IP by our ISP UK2.

    Can you please unblock us from your network as this is now costing us business and 2 clients have left us in the last few days!

    My server is not listed on SORBS , Symantec blacklist. and isn't open relay server.

    Hi Support

    i urgently need the IP 203.143.66.138 removed from your blacklist

    we did have an issue with an open relay but it has been resolved now

    we are getting the following message.

    Receiving server 85.158.139.103:25 is not responding. Possible reasons:

    • Server is down
    • A firewall/ISP is blocking communication to port 25

    have been told that to resolve this issue we need to have our IP Reputation reset.

    can this be done asap please.

    I have problems to send mail to messagelabs servers. 

    1 - delivery temporarily suspended: conversation with mail79.messagelabs.com[195.245.230.147] timed out while sending end of data -- message may be sent more than once

    2 - conversation with mail124.messagelabs.com[85.158.136.19] timed out while sending message body

    3 - mails that contains links are blocked.

    My domain is lemontech.com.br.

    My ips are: 200.219.201.195, 200.219.201.203, 200.219.201.205

    It seems our clusters were throttling these IP's which will cause some connection failures. I have reset the confidence of these IP's as High and your issue will now be resolved.
