Connect emails are treated as 'Phishing'...

Created: 08 Apr 2011 | 4 comments

Dear Connect Admin,

I see that 'Connect' emails are entrapped in Spam folder with a stamped embargo of 'Phishing Warning'. This problem has started from late Wednesday.

Can you please look into the same and help out?

Nothing has changed in the way we send out notifications in the past weeks. Perhaps your settings have changed?

Dear Leslie,

I am using only web-based email. I don't think I made any changes to 'Spam filter'. Also for connect forum I have a filter to get into an appropriate label. Only since the two days it has been overriding my filter and entering into my Spam covered by a blanket of being a 'Phish'.

This is an issue with the way your web email is filtering spam. I believe you wrote about this type of issue months ago.

As Leslie stated nothing has changed here, the problem is on your end.

Dear Thomas,

I believe three diversified email systems (AOL Websuite, Google Apps and United Internet GMX) can not be wrong at the same time. That is the reason I just thought I would bring the same to your kind attention.

Let me know if you would need more info and I can attach you the Internet Headers for the troubleshooting exercise by Connect development team.
