Connecting Client Computers to SEP Manager after service restart

Hello.  So yesterday I had to restart the computer that runs the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager program, and when it restarted I could not log into the manager.  I did not have enough time to look into it yesterday so I started first thing this morning, and realized that one of the services had not been started after restarting.  I started the service and was able to log into the manager, but now none of the client computers are connected to the server.  I looked at the logs for the client computers and they all have an error in the system log saying that "Failed to connect to the server 10 times."  I'm guessing that was when the service was still down, but does anyone know how to make the clients try to connect again.  It seems that after giving that error, and they all did, they stopped attempting to connect.  Any ideas?  Thanks.
