  • 1.  Console only recognizes one client in Default Group

Currently, I have three laptops connected by CAT5 to a Linksys WRT54GS Router (wireless turned off). One laptop has Ghost Console running. Other 2 machines have Ghost Client. The 2 clients have different Computer Names (C1, C2).

Default User Group on the console shows C1 but not C2.  C1 shows connected, C2 does not (in the system tray icon). But, oddly, if I disconnect C1 and only have C2 plugged in, C2 tray icon now shows connected. I can generate an image off of C2 or deploy an image to it even though the console has C1’s network adapter MAC address and machine name listed.

Ideally, I want the console to see both C1 and C2, and be able to deploy a common image to both machines at the same time via Ghostcasting. I suspect that I may have the duplicate UUID problem mentioned in the forum.

I use the router so that its DHCP capability can assign unique IP addresses to each machine.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong?  Thanks!

You're right, that sounds exactly like the duplicate UUID problem; drop me a line and I'll give you a code update that should help with that, it's unlikely to be anything you are doing wrong.
