Deployment Solution

I want to set-up certain rights in the console to allow people to perform functions within it. I want to give User X the rights to change the location information within computer properties. However the only way I can see doing this at this point is to give Administrator rights via the Security function for an individual user which I am trying to avoid. I have played with several scenarios in this area but have not found what I am looking for. Can this be done?

There are three places to set different types of permissions.

1. Globally, Tools > Security > Rights
2. On computers, right click the comupter/group you want and choose permissions
3. On jobs, right click the job/folder you want and choose permissions

I believe what you want is to assign the 'Modify Object' property to 'All Computers' for the specific group or user(s).
