Consolidation of image files?

Created: 20 Aug 2014 | 3 comments

Hello Everyone,

I'm in charge of two Windows Server 2012 machines and need a new backup solution to replace an aging disk image based solution.

I'm looking at Symantec System Recovery (I think), but I have a few questions specifically are:

- Does it create incremental files ?

- If so, can they be consolidated ?

- Does this cost extra? Or is it only available in a certain version of Backup Exec?)

- Is offsite replication included?

Thanks,

Jorge

(PS: I posted this in Backup Exec forum, but that was the wrong one...)

FYI - you can download a 60-day trial here: http://www4.symantec.com/Vrt/offer?a_id=92545

Hope this helps.
