  • 1.  Continuing SSL issues in SD 7.5

    We have fixed/repaired most of our SSL issues in ServiceDesk but we are still running into a few smaller issues, specifically around data services.

    We installed SD using SSL and it has always been the case so it has never NOT been setup to use SSL. We looked through ProcessManager and the DB for any signs of non-ssl settings (http vs https) and didn't find anything obvious. We can not, however, run any auto-calculate processes as we get an error 403. The logs show one of 2 errors usually, similar to the following: 

    Category: RulesDataServiceDynamicService.GetRuleActionMappingValuesComponent

    Error: Exception at Run method with message :The request failed with HTTP status 403: Forbidden.

     

    Does anyone have any idea on what might be causing this and what I can do to fix it? We've tried requiring SSL and turing it off and it continues not to work.

    This actually may be caused by the issue identified in this tech article: Tech213962. I will apply the fix and post back if it resolves the issue.

    The fix did (almost) repair the issue. I had to go into the component and change http to https but after that we're back in business.
