Continuous MsiInstaller Warnings after SEP Client Install
We are currently testing/deploying Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0 MR4 to multiple servers on our network. This is replacing a competitors software and I'm only installing 'Antivirus and Antispyware Protection' to the servers. I've currently install the software on approx. 65 servers, but I have 2 that are having the same problem. Every 5 minutes, I receive two warning in the Application Event log (these 2 warning repeat twice, so a total of 4 warnings every 5 minutes)

I've verified that the D:\Symantec\RTVScanPS.dll file does exist and the software appears to be working fine. I've searched the forums and found a similar issue someone had with SEP 11 MR1, but there was no solution to correcting the issue. Here are the steps I've attempted up to this point:
- Register the .dll file
- Unregister the MsiInstaller and reregister it
- Fully uninstall (including deleting everything from the registry), rebooting and reinstalling
- Reinstalling from a local drive
Any assistance that can be provided would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I got the Clean Wipe Utility from Symantec Tech Support and cleaned up one of the servers. I then attempted to reinstall SEP, but still was receiving the same error messages. We then started messing around with the communication intervals between our clients and SEPM server and I found that these error messages started reporting less frequently...they only appear when the client is in communication with the SEPM server. I then noticied another similarity between all the servers that were logging these errors...they were all Windows 2003 SP1 servers. Every one of our servers that are running Windows 2003 SP1 and SEP are showing these problems. I've since corrected two out of the three we currently have by upgrading the servers to SP2. I'm going to log a call with Tech Support since about half of our 600 servers are running this version and service pack. Thank you all for the suggestions.
