    Hi,

We've installed a CCS version 11 at our customer. On the CCS Application Server we've installed theConsole and it works. Now we try to install the console application to management hosts but we can't. The console application installer shows the attached error message. The remote console installation is supported in this version not as in ver. 9 so we did not find any solution.

    Any idea?

    Regards,

    Laszlo

What version of Windows Server are you running the Application Server on? 32-bit or 64-bit OS? Was the App Server install an upgrade or fresh install? From another machine, can you ping the netbios name of the App Server? At what point during the console install are you getting this error? Are you using the install link from the Downloads tab on the CCS Web Console? From media? From a UNC path? Etc? Can you display the web console from another machine? URL should be http://appservername/CCS_Web Have you configured the SPNs? Are there duplicate SPNs?

    Hi,

The application server is running on a Windows Server 2008 R2 64bit OS. It was a fresh install. The remote machine can ping both the NETBIOS and the FQDN name of the application server.I get the error after I specify the application server name and port in the console app. I install it from the Downloads tab on the CCS Web Console. Now if I try to reach the web console from remote machine, it asks for Windows credentials, but as I remember it worked when I tried before. I haven't configured SPN's, I'm just checked the duplicates, but the SPN issue has effect only previously versions of SCCS I thought.

    Thanks,

    Laszlo
