Control Compliance Suite

Went to the CCS site & downloaded the Symnatec_control_compliancy_suite_ver10_0_windows_en.part1.exe. I haven't downloaded part2.exe yet but tried to temporarily install part1.exe on my xp workstation, even though I knew it probably would need to be installed on a server. Wasn't sure what o/s the trial ver required. I understand it needs win2003/SP2 & will install on server. During install, it reached a point where it request that another disk be inserted & was trying to locate a .rar file. Can anyone tell me the correct way to install the CCS trial ver & if an additional license key is required? I would just like to install the s/w & take a test drive... Zoom Zoom Zoom...

You will need license keys for CCS. I believe you'll need to download part2 as they both are needed to export all of the install files needed.

Server / Web Portal / Database minimum hardware requirements

• Dual 3.0 GHz CPU, 64-bit capable
• 4 GB RAM
• 130 GB free disk space
• Microsoft Windows Server 2003 SP2 or 2008
• Microsoft SQL Server 2005 SP2

If you have a support  contract, then, you can get  a temporary serial number, and a temp. license that is  valid for a moth...you can use that  for trial version, I guess

On the software download page (at the bottom), there is a note that says:

"Thank you for downloading the Symantec Control Compliance Suite.  To ensure that Symantec can provide any technical assistance needed for a smooth evaluation, please contact your Sales representative for a license key, as well as help with product activation and implementation."
