hi all,

how many veritas HA license would it need?

2 or 1?

Hi Ida,

you have following two options to license SFHA here,

1- License based on Server Type

2- License based on Per Core.

 

in the picture itself there are two Physical Servers so , if you go for option 1 then you will have to get 2 SFHA or VCS license , if you go for Option 2 then you can calculate them based on Core you allocate to each LDOM e.g if you allocate 4 Core to one Ldom/Node and 4 to 2nd Ldom/Node then you need to calculate 8 SPVU. BTW we have a nice calclator at https://sort.symantec.com/spvu_calc/ for SPVU calculation.
