Hi,

2 things:

1. Make sure the RAWS agent on the target server is still running after this job fails. If not, you need to investigate why (could be AV blocking access);

2. Turn off your AV on the Exchange server and try the conversion again.

Thanks!

If you find this is a solution, please mark it as such.

RAWS agent still running and i do not use AV on Exchange but i use Symantec Mail for MS Exchange, do i have to turn off the Symantec Mail for MS Exchange ?

NB: I try convert to virtual from Backup

Mmm...OK that clears a bit up.

Nope, then AV doesn't play any role.

Hi,

What is the OS on which Exchange is installed?

From the error in the job log it seems to me a problem in system state backup/restore. Could you please have a look at below technote and then try a backup and convert and see if it works.

Technote: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH136185

Thanks!

Hello Sameer,

What is the meaning "In the Value data box, type all binary paths that should be excluded from the system state backup operation" in this tutorial http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH136185 ?

How to know the path that shoud be exclud ?

Thank's

Hi,

To know if what all paths are causing problem I could find another technote, please have a look.

Technote: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH129238

You would need to enable debug logs and look into them to idenfiy if any paths are causing problem like the example in the technote link.

Thanks.
