We have a file that is PGP encrypted on our server. We needed to create a backup, so we purchased an external HD and copied the folder and all of it's contents to the new drive.

Now in both the source directory and all of it's subfolders, as well as the destination directory and all of it's subfolders, there is a PGPFS.INI file, and we cannot access anything in either location.

Can someone please offer some insight?

    Thanks,

    Jeff

The directory has been encrypted using Symantec File Share Encryption (nee PGP NetShare).  The decrypted contents can only be accessed from a machine that has this product installed, and has the appropriate private key to decrypt the contents.

I had also decrypted my files earlier with the above method.
