    Hi there,

i need some help about updating SEP clients.

My clients are with 12.1.4100.4126 version on Windows 7 x64 operating system.

I have lots of remote locations with SEP clients, and gups are defined for every location.

But some of the links to this locations are very poor, and i need an alternative update solution.

Can i copy the definitions from another client on the same location?

Are there any other way, that avoid copying the definitions package for every location that i have outdated clients?

    Thanks in advance.

You can use the Intelligent Updater, download from here:

    Thanks for the reply

The intelligent updater is 400 MBS, i have sites that takes 4 ou 5 hours do copy\download.

The main idea is to copy from another client on the sama location that is already updated.

Unfortunatly the intelligent updater and JDB file are that size and only way to update the normal client.

I don't know if the new reduced size client can be used on those machines that's available in 12.1 RU6 may need to get a symantec employee to confirm.

Reduced size are for VDI and Windows embedded clients, so that could be an option if you run those
