The 'support' account is desinged for and should really only be used by Symantec Technical Support. It sounds like you want to store backups remotely, so you should really configure scheduled remote backups to an FTP server on site.

Hi Email Admin, you can go the admin guide on the command line interface section on how to backup the db on an scp or ftp site.

you can do this by loggin in to the cli, type: "db-backup -f ftp://user:password@servername/dir/path"
