Copy/Duplicate media tape

I need to know how to copy/duplicate a tape to another tape.
Here is the issue:
My month-end quarterly archive job for some reason decided to pull a daily tape (barcode 000009). If this had happened on a normal weekend, this would not be a big deal. However, media used on THIS specfic job is never used again. It just sits at the underground vault.
So I would like to copy the tape (000009) that was used to another tape that is within the barcode set for long-term storage.
How can I copy/duplicate this tape?

Hi,
You need 2 drives to do this. Either 2 stand-alone drives connected to the same server, or 2 drives in an autoloader/tape library.
From there, create a duplicate job. Specify the tape you want to duplicate, and the target you want to duplicate too.

If you have the Disk storage Space and did not have a second standalone drive you could duplicate from tape A to a disk storage location then change tapes and duplicate the now disk backup to tape B.
