I can't seem to find any documentaion that talks about restoring a diff backup.

We do a combination of Full and Diff-Inc vmware backups.

Do you need to restore the full first then select each differential in turn?

With normal MS-Window backups you are able to select multiple dates on a restore - Netbackup then does the business.

It doesn't seem like you can select multiple dates in under restore from virtual Machine backup.

Please can someone help me with best practice?  There is one document that i've found on the subject but it doesn't discuss approach of diff restores, just fulls.
